Host a Drop for your crowd

A Drop is a live window on Larking. Everyone shows up at the same time and sees who's there, and a mutual yes puts two people in a video call on the spot. No scheduling, no DMs, no waiting.

Host one and it's yours: a private Drop that only your people can get into.

Who it's for

  • Shows and events. Half your crowd buys a ticket alone. Run a Drop the week of the event and they walk in already knowing a few faces.
  • Online communities. Your Discord has talked in text for months. Give them one night where they actually meet.
  • Meetups and clubs. Mix a room that always splits into the same small groups, and meet the regulars you've only nodded at.
  • Teams and classes. Put faces to names, one short conversation at a time.

What you get

  • A private Drop that never shows on the public lineup. Only people with your invite links, or on your invite list, can get in.
  • A separate link for each place you share it — Discord, a newsletter, a group chat — so you can see which one brought people in.
  • A short survey for everyone after the Drop, with up to three questions of your own. You read the answers; you never see who gave them.
  • Someone from Larking on hand for your first night.

How it works

  • Ask to host. It takes a minute.
  • We reply within a few days.
  • Set your night up: pick a time and a length, make your links, and publish.
  • Share the links with your people.
  • Afterwards, see how many came, how many calls happened, and what the survey said.

Good to know

A Drop works best with at least 8 people there at once, and a week's notice gives them time to plan. We're taking a handful of groups while the pilot runs.

If you're up for it, we'd love ten minutes of feedback after your night, and your okay to write up how it went — first names only or fully anonymous. Neither is required.
